  • The operated area should not come into contact with water. Also, the first wash is carried out in the clinic within 3 days.
  • Hammam, sauna, pool should not be preferred, and the treated area should be protected from sunlight.
  • Scabs should not be scratched.
  • The beards should not be shaved for at least 10 days after the operation. The surgeon informs the patients about the most appropriate time according to the condition.
  • Alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited for the first week following a beard transplant. These products negatively affect the healing process.
  • Shock loss that occurs in all planting processes is also a situation that can be encountered in a beard transplant after 1 to 3 months.
  • The newly transplanted beard fully grows on average between 6 months and 9 months, depending on the person and care.
  • To recover quickly, prescribed medicines should be used regularly.

Beard transplants can be performed regardless of time. However, if the process is carried out in summer, protection from sunlight, taking care not to sweat; not to go to the sea and the pool is required. In winter, it’s necessary to protect the treated area from cold.
